Is Your Website like a Magazine? I

posted by enigin in General

Many company websites are dull, uninspiring and do not do anything for their owners. Company blogs can also soon descend into the carefully worded opinions of a few executives, followed by 0 responses - so nobody is reading the content, and if they are they are not motivated to leave a comment.

Google has become very powerful - when Microsoft seemed to hold similar power the many seemed to turn against them, it is interesting that this hasn’t happened to Google, as yet.

I recall the days when your search engine was very much a personal choice, the list includes both the old and current (if available) versions of HotBot, Excite, WebCrawler, Ask Jeeves, Ask.com, Yahoo, Google, Dogpile, AltaVista, Lycos, MSN Search, Bing, AOL Search, Infoseek, Go.com, Netscape, MetaCrawler, and All The Web.

Enigin - hopefully a better future

British Gas announced this week the millions of pounds worth of profits that they have made over the the past year. So I must ask the question we must all be thinking, Why?

Why are we still paying such huge utility bills. Have you seen a decrease in your bills? I know I haven’t. It is a battle as it is with these companies to try and pay a little less each month and still have the amount to cover your usage. They want you to up how much you pay.
