Are you as interested in energy conservation as I am? It’s a fascinating business, A quick trawl of the internet produces thousands of results. I’ve been researching energy conservation for vehicles and have come up with loads of potential solutions. Electric cars, charged via the sun or wind power can make motoring clean and free. Biofuels and hydrogen cells have all been in the news, and as technology catches up with the ideas, you’ll see more and more of these solutions. It’s amazing that the internal combustion engine has remained essentially unchanged for over a hundred years when you look at all the other advances that have been made. As soon as I get the chance, and I guess that means retirement, I’ll be putting some of these great ideas to the test. Have you heard of Brown’s gas, it’s a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen that can be made by putting an electric current through water! The gas can be mixed with petrol and reduces consumption dramatically, can’t wait to give it a go. Have you guessed that I’m a bit of a petrol-head, anything to do with cars fascinates me.
